This Code of Conduct establishes the basic expectations for individuals participating in CNSP activities and engaging with the CNSP community.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Scope&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">This Code of Conduct applies to CNSP members, Board and committee members, volunteers, partners, and participants in CNSP-sponsored activities, including meetings, conferences, workshops, online forums, and other CNSP communications.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Expected Conduct&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Individuals participating in the CNSP community are expected to:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Treat others with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Contribute to an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, disciplines, institutions, and career stages.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Engage in constructive and respectful discussion, including when opinions differ.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Respect the privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, and professional contributions of others.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Act honestly and responsibly when representing CNSP or participating in CNSP activities.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Follow applicable CNSP policies and the rules of host institutions or venues. <\/span><b>Unacceptable Conduct&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">CNSP does not tolerate conduct that undermines a safe, respectful, and professional community. This includes:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, bullying, or threatening behaviour. Offensive, demeaning, or discriminatory comments or conduct.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Unwanted sexual attention or other inappropriate behaviour.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Deliberate disruption of CNSP activities or communications.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Retaliation against an individual who raises a concern in good faith.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Other conduct that could reasonably be considered inconsistent with the principles of this Code.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Reporting Concerns&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Individuals who experience or witness conduct that may violate this Code are encouraged to report their concerns to the Membership Engagement Officer:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:ken.dyson@muhc.mcgill.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">ken.dyson@muhc.mcgill.ca<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Reports will be handled as confidentially and fairly as reasonably possible. CNSP will review concerns and determine appropriate action based on the nature and circumstances of the reported conduct.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Consequences&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300\">Where a violation of this Code is determined to have occurred, CNSP may take appropriate action.
