CRCHUM

With a BSc in Medical Biology, I started my career as a research technician in laboratories. After few years, I accepted the challenge to participate to the growing of small CRO (contract research organization). I then became the Head of the Pharmacy department, in which all lab formulations were prepared for this pre-clinical research company. For 13 years, I built a very efficient team (from 1 to 20 employees), in a strict GLP environment where lab work, procedures, documentation and organization were managed with precision, rigour and efficiency. Since January 2014, I manage 10 core facilities at the CRCHUM as being the first coordinator, after merging all research labs in a single brand new research center. My team manages approx. 150 internal and 50 external clients yearly, with a total budget of $3.8M. I am proud to have led many projects such as pooling different contracts services to save more than 75K$, reviewing the billing process to facilitate work for core managers and clients, developing the website and implementing a simple contractual process for external clients to access cores.
