Julie Auger Julie Auger is widely recognized for her expertise in the operation and administration of multitechnology, multi-disciplinary academic resource centers in support of institutional research missions. Her specific technology and scientific background is in flow cytometry and immunology and she has also directed monoclonal antibody production and immuno-histochemistry cores. She has been responsible for the development of central administrative programs focused on cores at the University of Chicago and UC San Francisco.

Dr. Lisa Yen

Lisa Yen Dr. Lisa Yen has over ten years of experience in research administration and management. She received her PhD in Cognitive Science, investigating speech and language, from Macquarie University in 2005. Lisa was the Chief Operating Officer of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders (CCD; 2011 – 2019). She joined Microscopy Australia, a national research infrastructure provider, taking up the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2019. As Chief Operating Officer, Lisa leads a team of staff to deliver outstanding research infrastructure support to users across the nine Microscopy Australia facilities. She manages strategic planning and operations for Microscopy Australia, including financial management, reporting responsibilities and future planning. She overseas communication, marketing, stakeholder relations and engagement activities to strengthen industry, community and institutional collaboration.
